Description
Mouse IgG2b negative control for the measurement of non-specific binding of mouse monoclonal antibodies of isotype IgG2b. The antibody can be used as a negative control for direct FITC immunofluorescence staining (e.g. flow cytometry) when using mouse monoclonal antibodies to human cell surface antigens of isotype IgG2b. This enables an estimation of non-specific binding of mouse monoclonal antibodies to cell surface components in peripheral blood and tissue. The negative control is also suitable for use with bovine, ovine, porcine, canine, and guinea-pig tissues.
Formulation
0.5 ml (100 µg/ml) 0.2 µm filtered biotinylated antibody solution in PBS, containing 0.1% bovine serum albumine and 0.02% sodium azide.
Species
Mouse IgG2b
Application
The biotinylated antibody can be used as a negative control for flow cytometry. Suitable for whole blood, Ficoll-separated preparations, frozen and paraffin embedded sections.
Use
For flow cytometry dilutions to be used depend on detection system applied. It is recommended that users titrate the antibody for use in their system to a concentration equivalent to the test reagents.
Storage and stability
Product should be stored undiluted at 4°C. Under recommended storage conditions, product is stable for one year.
