Short description

Mouse IgG1 negative control for the measurement of non-specific binding of mouse monoclonal antibodies of IgG1 isotype.

This control antibody recognizes a rat cell surface marker. Therefore, it cannot be used as a negative control on rat tissues.

The negative control is suitable for use with human, bovine, ovine, porcine, equine, canine, lapine and guinea-pig tissues.

Description

Formulation

0.5 ml (100 µg/ml) 0.2 µm filtered FITC conjugated antibody solution in PBS, containing 1% bovine serum albumine and 0.02% sodium azide.

Application

The FITC conjugated antibody can be used for flow cytometry.

Use

For flow cytometry dilutions to be used depend on detection system applied. It is recommended that users titrate the antibody for use in their system to a concentration equivalent to the test reagents.

Storage and stability

Product should be stored undiluted at 4°C. Under recommended storage conditions, product is stable for one year.
