Mouse IgG2a negative control for the measurement of non-specific binding of mouse monoclonal antibodies of isotype IgG2a.

The control antibody is raised against activated rat T-helper cells. Therefore, it cannot be used as a negative control in rat tissues.

The negative control is suitable for use with human, bovine, ovine, porcine, equine, canine, lapine and guinea-pig tissues.

Description
Mouse IgG2a negative control for the measurement of non-specific binding of mouse monoclonal antibodies of isotype IgG2a.

The control antibody is raised against activated rat T-helper cells. Therefore, it cannot be used as a negative control in rat tissues.

The negative control is suitable for use with human, bovine, ovine, porcine, equine, canine, lapine and guinea-pig tissues.
Formulation
0.5 ml (100 µg/ml) 0.2 µm filtered antibody solution in PBS, containing 0.1% bovine serum albumine and 0.02% sodium azide.

Application
The antibody can be used as negative control for flow cytometry. The antibody is less suitable for intracellular staining.
Use
For flow cytometry dilutions to be used depend on detection system applied. It is recommended that users titrate the antibody for use in their system to a concentration equivalent to the test reagents.
Storage and stability
Product should be stored undiluted at 4°C or at -20°C if preferred. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Under recommended storage conditions, product is stable for one year.
