Description
Mouse IgG2b negative control for the measurement of non-specific binding of mouse monoclonal antibodies of isotype IgG2b. The antibody does not react with any human cell surface markers, and is therefore useful as an isotype matched negative control reagent. The control antibody is arising from a spontaneous murine plasmacytoma. The negative control is also suitable for use with bovine, ovine, porcine, canine, and guinea-pig tissues.
Formulation
0.5 ml (100 µg/ml) 0.2 µm filtered antibody solution in PBS, containing 0.1% bovine serum albumine and 0.02% sodium azide.

Application
The antibody can be used as a negative control for immunohistochemistry on frozen sections and paraffin embedded sections and flow cytometry.
Use
For flow cytometry dilutions to be used depend on detection system applied. It is recommended that users titrate the antibody for use in their system to a concentration equivalent to the test reagents.
Storage and stability
Product should be stored undiluted at 4°C for one month or at -20°C for longer. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Under recommended storage conditions, product is stable for one year.
