Description
The fluorescein (FITC)-conjugated polyclonal antibody to rabbit IgG reacts with the heavy chains on rabbit IgG and with light chains common to most rabbit immunoglobulins. The affinity-purified antibody has been isolated from antisera by immunoaffinity chromatography using antigens coupled to agarose gels. Due to a special purification step it shows minimal cross-reaction to human, bovine and horse serum proteins. The polyclonal antibody to rabbit IgG does not react with non-immunoglobulin serum proteins. The antibody has been tested by Elisa to ensure the highest possible quality.
Formulation
1.5 mg lyophilized affinity-purified antibody in PBS containing stabilizing protein and 0.05% sodium azide. Reconstitute the vial by injection of 1 ml distilled or de-ionized water (Caution: vial is under vacuum).

Application
The FITC-conjugated polyclonal antibody to rabbit IgG is useful for immunohistology on frozen and paraffin sections and flow cytometry.
Use
For immunohistology and flow cytometry dilutions to be used depend on detection system applied. It is recommended that users test the reagent and determine their own optimal dilutions. For most applications we suggest dilution ranges from 1:50 - 1:200.
Storage and stability
Lyophilized product should be stored at 4°C. Store stock solution in aliquots at -70°C. Alternatively the product can be stored at -20°C if an equal volume of glycerol is added to the solution for a final concentration of 50%. Repeated freeze and thaw cycles will cause loss of activity. Under recommended storage conditions, product is stable for one year.
