Description
The monoclonal antibody 43 reacts with the hydrophilic backbone of free lipid A. This antibody only reacts with lipid A not covalent bound to LPS. LPS is chemically composed of a lipid part, lipid A, which is responsible for the endotoxic activities of LPS, and a heteropolysaccharide which generally consists of an oligosaccharide, termed the core region, and, in some bacterial families, of the so-called O chain, composed of repeating oligosaccharide units.
Formulation
1 ml (> 200 µg/ml) culture medium with a low endotoxin level containing 0.02% sodium azide.

Application
The antibody can be used for immunoassays and Western blotting.
Use
For Western blotting dilutions to be used depend on detection system applied. It is recommended that users test the reagent and determine their own optimal dilutions. The typical starting working dilution is 1:10.
Storage and stability
Product should be stored at -20°C. Under recommended storage conditions, product is stable for one year.
